D & G Horses and Outfitting is a family owned and operated outfitting and guide business by western Colorado natives. We have lived in the Upper Frying Pan River Valley 30 years and have been outfitters for 35 years. We hunt in game management units 47 and 444. We offer drop camps for elk and deer hunts during the archery, muzzle loading, and all rifle seasons. We offer Big Horn Sheep hunts in units GMU S44 and S66 and Goat hunts in unit G17. We take a limited number of hunters each year so we can give everyone the personal attention they deserve and make sure you have a top quality Colorado hunt.
Complete hunting packages are offered in the Upper Frying Pan River Valley in units 47 and 444.
We are located between Aspen and Vail in some of Colorado's most scenic
and productive country for elk in Colorado.

The drop camps range in elevation from 8,000 feet
elevation to 10,500. Our drop camps have a tent,
wood stove, propane cook stove, cots, table, chairs, lanterns, pots, pans, and dishes.
You need to furnish food, sleeping bag,
and personal gear. We will pack your gear and provide you a
riding horse to and from your camp. We do not leave any
horse in camp. You will be checked on every two to three days
and your game pack out is included in your rate.

Our Outfitted Drop Camp fees, DO NOT include: food, guides, personal gear, horses left in camp, hunting license fees, field preparation of game, meat processing & taxidermy fees and shipping.
